Cairns Dive Adventures is a new website, created by Cairns locals who are dedicated to providing visitors with a comprehensive range of information on snorkelling and Cairns diving day trips, liveaboard tours and courses available from Cairns to the Great Barrier Reef.

Cairns is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the best snorkelling and diving experiences you can enjoy anywhere on earth.  This natural paradise attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, who are drawn to its World Heritage listed beauty and diversity.  There are many ways to explore the reef, catering to swimmers, snorkellers and divers of all ages and abilities.  This site is designed to be a guide to some of the experiences and operators, who provide Cairns Great Barrier Reef experiences.  The site is still in development and is being grown weekly.  Cairns Snorkelling Tours is nearly complete, with Dive Trips the next category to be entered.  Watch this space.

The Great Barrier Reef is the largest reef in the world and is visible from outer space.  Measuring over 2,011kms in length, the Great Barrier Reef is home to more than 1,200 varieties of fish and over 400 types of corals.  The tropical city of Cairns is one of the closest mainland points to the reef and with its international and domestic airports, it is very accessible to visitors from around the world.
