Down Under Dive specialise in diving but also provide snorkelling day tours to the Great Barrier Reef, aboard Osprey 5.  Departing daily, Osprey 5 visits two spectacular Outer Barrier Reef destinations, providing guests with up to five hours on the reef.  The snorkelling sites have been selected for their variety of coral and marine life and bottom contours, ensuring beginners, children and experienced snorkelers will all enjoy their time in the water.  The Osprey 5 is a large modern vessel that provides a fast ride to the reef.  Price inclusions: a guided snorkelling tour, introductory scuba diving lesson, all equipment and a delicious BBQ lunch, including prawns, fish, steak, sausages, vegetarian, tropical salads and pasta.

Check in for your Outer Great Barrier Reef snorkelling day tour on Osprey 5 at 7.20am at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal, before departing for your day at 8.20am.  The large, modern Osprey 5 provides its guests a quick journey to its two reef destinations, maximising your time in the water.

Down Under Dive has 12 exclusive moorings at six reef locations.  Where you go on the day, depends on the weather conditions and visibility, ensuring you will enjoy the very best Great Barrier Reef snorkelling that is available, each and every trip.  Your first stop (generally) will be at either Norman or Saxon Reefs, situated on the Outer Great Barrier Reef, providing excellent snorkelling opportunities.  The second location is generally North Hastings Reef, where you can choose some optional extras including a helicopter flight or glass-bottom boat tour.  The reef destinations have been chosen specifically for their abundance of marine life, clarity of water and bottom contours, providing the very best Outer Great Barrier Reef snorkelling experience for beginners, families and experienced snorkelers.  Included in your day tour is five hours on the reef, free guided snorkelling tours and a free introductory diving experience.
