Ocean Free is the only true sailing tour in Cairns (where the engines get switched off) offering reef and island destinations, with exclusive mooring locations and a personalised experience, thanks to the maximum of 35 guests per trip.  This unique, tropical sailing trip allows you to be as hands on or relaxed as you wish, help hoist the sails or just sit back and relax as you sail to your mooring destination, Pinnacle Reef, which is just 700m offshore from Green Island.  Enjoy 4.5 hours at sea, to enjoy, explore, snorkel and swim: diving is an optional extra.  There are always schools of fish around the boat, including Parrot Fish, Giant Trevally, Spangled Emperors and Yellow Tailed Fusiliers. On Green Island wander the beach, walk around the island or enjoy a tropical cocktail by the pool.

The Ocean Free Sail to Green Island day tour commences with check in at the Reef Fleet Terminal, before boarding your vessel.  Morning tea is provided on departure from Cairns and includes tea, coffee, fruit and fresh muffins.  Arriving at Ocean Free’s exclusive mooring at Pinnacle Reef, you can enjoy swimming, diving and snorkelling with coral outcrops just one metre below the surface making viewing easy.  Complimentary tender transfers are provided to Green Island where you can wander the only island in the Great Barrier Reef to have tropical rainforest and interpretative boardwalks.  There are also glass-bottom boat tours available on the island, a semi-sub and Marineland Melanesia, with crocodiles in captivity.  Passengers on Ocean Free can enjoy certified diving with a complimentary guide, or try an introductory dive.  Diving is in addition to costs.
