With a maximum of just 20 guests per day, Reef Daytripper provides an intimate day tour to the Great Barrier Reef. Departing from Cairns’ Marlin Marina at 8.30am, you’ll enjoy morning tea / coffee and an introductory briefing as you motor to your destination, Upolu Cay. Reef Daytripper has private moorings at the cay, where you can choose between snorkelling, diving or just relaxing on the bow nets. Included in your day tour is all snorkelling equipment and safety tuition, reef education and guided tours, PADI scuba demonstrations for introductory divers, tropical buffet lunch and wine, cheese and fruit platter for your return journey. Reef Daytripper is one of the few boats to have such small numbers, meaning you will enjoy superb personalised service normally only available on privately owned yachts.

Reef Daytripper takes a maximum of 20 passengers to their destination at Upolu Reef, departing from Marlin Marina daily. Enjoy personalised service and a relaxed friendly atmosphere on board, as well as tea and coffee in the morning, a sumptuous tropical buffet lunch and wine, cheese and fruit platter in the afternoon. The knowledgeable, personable crew provide an interesting briefing on the Great Barrier Reef on the way to Upolu Cay, which will increase your appreciation of this amazing World Heritage listed area during your snorkelling day trip. The shallow, crystal clear waters around Upolu Cay are perfect for snorkelling, swimming and diving. Reef Daytripper has private locations to dive and snorkel, which will be shown to you by our experienced guides. You have just under four hours at the reef and weather permitting, will visit two sites with plenty of time for you to explore this amazing marine environment. When you have had enough fun, just relax in the shaded bow nets and watch for some of the reef’s friendly critters, including dolphins and turtles.
