Your day aboard Reef Experience begins with a BBQ breakfast, cooked on board as you commence your Cairns diving day tour to the Great Barrier Reef.  There is a reef presentation and safety orientation provided as you travel to the reef, as well as dive and snorkel briefings with qualified personnel.  You will be in the water before you know it, arriving at your first reef destination at around 10.30am.  There is three hours to enjoy and explore this amazing natural paradise, with each of our reef destinations boasting many special features.  Hastings Reef is renowned for its spectacular coral gardens, Norman Reef is on the Outer Edge of the Great Barrier Reef, providing a completely different diving experience, while Saxon Reef and Breaking Patches are home to many wonderful marine critters, including Tina the Turtle and her family who frolic amongst forest staghorn coral, large sea fans and black coral trees.  Lunch is a hot and cold smorgasbord that is prepared daily onboard by the chef, it is served as you move to your second reef destination for the day.  Another, personal highlight of the Reef Experience dive day tours, is the complimentary wine, cheese and fruit platter that is served on the homeward journey.  Reef Experience also offers an ‘upgrade’ to the Top Deck Club, for those desiring a little more luxury on their diving day tour.  This is additional cost, but provides you with your own personal valet for the day, access to the exclusive Top Deck Area, personal Great Barrier Reef guide and Top Deck gift.
