Cairns Dive Centre is an accredited SSI training centre with excellent facilities and staff. Their Advanced Dive Courses start daily and are designed to provide Open Water Divers with the opportunity to learn new scuba diving skills on the Great Barrier Reef. This three day, two night course includes a total of 10 scuba dives on the Great Barrier Reef with accredited instructors teaching you underwater navigation, deep diving and night diving. You can then choose from two other areas of interest, including naturalist diving, multi-level diving and search and recovery of an object, to complete your portfolio of advanced scuba diving skills. Underwater navigation will teach you natural navigation without a compass, navigation patterns and how to estimate distance underwater. Deeper water diving teaches you the special skills and knowledge you need to take your dive deeper, not an essential skill for the Great Barrier Reef but excellent for wreck diving. Meantime, night diving the Great Barrier Reef gives you a completely different perspective of this nature’s paradise. See fish sleeping, crayfish exploring and vibrant coral colours under the beam of your underwater torch. Complete this course aboard Cairns Dive Centre’s M.V.
