Sunlover Cruises provide an amazing diving day tour from Cairns to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, departing daily at 10am. Scuba dive directly from their exclusive Moore Reef pontoon, or tender to a more remote reef location to enjoy swimming with some of the reef’s famous and friendly giant Maori Wrasse residents. Marine turtles are often around the pontoon, creating memorable diving moments and photo opportunities. Like many Cairns dive day tours, certified diving is in addition to the ‘base tour price’: when booking check for the optional extras. One (1) certified dive is $80 or enjoy two (2) for $125, these prices include professional dive instructors and equipment. The Sunlover Cruises diving day tour provides up to 4.5 hours at stunning Moore Reef and includes a delicious buffet lunch and range of pontoon activities.

Sunlover Cruises Great Barrier Reef diving day tour commences with a 9.15am check-in and 10am departure from Cairns. Winners of the 2010 Tropical North Queensland tourism award for Major Tour and/or Transport Operators award, Sunlover Cruises are committed to providing guests with shorter travel time and more “play time” on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Arriving at their exclusive Moore Reef pontoon at around 11.30am, you have approximately 4 hours to dive, snorkel, swim, relax and enjoy the many activities that are included in this value for money day out, such as: glass-bottom boat tours, semi-submersible tours, underwater observatory and marine life touch tank. Take advantage of their freshwater showers and change rooms, before tucking into a delicious buffet lunch, which is served from 12.30pm and includes hot and cold dishes such as beef curry and chicken casserole, coleslaw and potato salad, chilled prawns, freshly baked bread and a selection of tropical fruits. As an accredited Ecotourism operator through Ecotourism Australia, Sunlover Cruises is committed to ensuring its guests gain an understanding and appreciation of the unique values of the Great Barrier Reef environment and marine naturalist presentations are provided on-board for your interest and enjoyment. The Sunlover Cruises catamaran departs the pontoon at 4pm, returning you to Cairns at around 5.30pm.
