Down Under Cruise and Dive: Sample 4 Day Learn to Dive Itinerary
Monday (Cairns): Complementary coach pick-ups will collect you at 7.30am and transfer you to the Down Under Cruise and Dive PADI Learn to Dive training centre.  On arrival, complete your medical checks and all necessary paperwork with Down Under personnel before heading into the classroom to commence the theory component of learning to scuba dive.  After a quick lunch break, it is into the training pool to start to put your new found scuba knowledge to the test.

Tuesday (Cairns): The morning starts much the same as yesterday, except you will need to participate and pass in a theory exam prior to lunch.  Once this has been achieved, it’s back into the pool for more practice before you head out to the Great Barrier Reef tomorrow.

Wednesday (Great Barrier Reef): Today you head out to the Great Barrier Reef aboard Osprey 5.  Enjoy five hours on the Great Barrier Reef and complete two of the necessary four training dives required to complete your Open Water Dive License.  An Aussie BBQ lunch is included, featuring steak, sausages, cold meats, salads and more.  Vegetarian options are also available.  There are a maximum 100 guests per trip, with spacious outdoor sun decks for your enjoyment and relaxation, when you are not in the water.

Thursday (Great Barrier Reef): Osprey 5 takes you back out to the Great Barrier Reef, where you can complete your diver certification.  Your instructor will ensure you complete all necessary steps and at the end of the day, will present you with your PADI Open Water Diver License.  Celebrate that night, with drinks and dinner (not included in package price).

Please note, there is an additional $44 administration fee to be paid direct to the operator on the first day of the course.
